Demand for technical assistance continues at an unprecedented rate. ASA is currently providing technical support to over 125 financial service providers and financial support to 24 institutions within Bangladesh to help ensure a diverse and well developed financial sector that reaches all levels of society efficiently and with quality financial products.

Demand in foreign countries for ASA's expertise in providing technical assistance is no different. These programs are now achieving financial viability. Furthermore, ASA started work with CORDAID in india with NBJK to strengthen the microfinance activity. ASA also looks forward to providing technical support to microfinance institutions world-wide participating in the UNDP's MicroStart Program. The success of ASA and its capacity for providing technical assistance has global implications for the microfinance sector.
